  This was the Pilgrim Holiness Church of Delmar and my father was the pastor when I was a very small boy. We lived in the Church Parsonage at 711 East Street, which was on the diagonal corner opposite the church building. While I cannot remember the exact years, it was around 1950. I still have many memories of the Church, church members, church property, and the geography of the general area. Route 50 did not exist when we first moved there and it was being built, but not finished when we left. Father left to pastor the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Trappe, Maryland, and from there we moved to Orlando, Florida.
